Opened in August 2017 by owner Laura Window, Art as Mania has become the premier art and craft gallery in Deloraine, Tasmania.
See one of the most extensive collections of quality locally made art and craft under one roof. We proudly support over 90 local artists and craftspeople.

Art as Mania is a store set out over 4 floors showcasing the very best work of local Tasmanian artists and craftspeople. Whether you are looking for exquisite rural watercolours, contemporary wall art, hand sewn textiles and garments, fine woodcraft, jewellery, metal sculptures, or ceramic pottery there is sure to be something created by one of our talented local artists in store that takes your fancy.

We also have a range of furniture in contemporary style, rustic handmade, re-purposed, old, new and estate furniture. There is an ever changing variety by many Tasmanian makers.

Willis & Friends stocks ladies fashions on the main floor and menswear upstairs. With a huge range of Merinomink, Betty Basic, Ringers Western and Ridgeline, they have you covered.

  • Macrocarpa and Pine Coffee Table

    The Macrocarpa Pine top was timber milled from a tree removed by council from a property in Prospect, Tasmania in the late 90's. The base is from a Baltic Pine packing crate which was transported from Europe to Northern Tasmania in 2011.

  • Huon Pine Patchwork Table

    An 1850 Huon Pine verandah post transformed into an elegant, side table. SOLD

  • Black Heart Sassafras Coffee Table

  • Bullet Bar Table

    This bar table is mainly Huon Pine, inset with resin. And inset in the resin are spent bullets. The top sits on black cast iron legs. Straight to the man cave! SOLD

  • Jack & Jill Seat

    This Jack & Jill is built using high quality timber and fittings and will last many years.

  • Old English Telephone Box

    A modern take on an old style. Would look great in your garden setting.

  • Tiger in the Wild

    This table is made from one of Tasmania's hardest sourced timbers; Black Heart Sassafras. This table has been crafted with a "waterfall" grain down both ends. It also features Huon Pine inlays and rack underneath. SOLD

    This side table is made with wood and wrought iron. With an extra shelf, it's super practical.

  • Myrtle Table Bench

    Solid Myrtle Slab on black powder coated metal feet. Residential/commercial use. Heavy duty piece. 2.8 meters long.

  • Patchwork Table

    The top of this table is made from pine timber shorts which have been finger jointed, creating a patchwork effect. The base was originally an old table rescued from the art of Rocherlea Primary School.
